Approach
"It's the relationship that heals." -Irv Yalom
I am a clinical psychologist. If cornered, I will say that I utilize an existential-integrative approach in my work. In plain English, I adopt a here-and-now approach to remain attentive to what is emerging and clamoring for attention in each moment, with particular focus on the specific co-created relationship between me and the client. I believe that most problems in living are ultimately relational in nature and are best addressed at the level of characteristic patterns of relating.
I invite you to join me in an authentic, collaborative partnership in which we co-create a space in which you can feel safe to explore, identify, and ultimately change the intrapersonal and interpersonal dynamics that are producing distress and disturbance in your life. In this process, I will serve as an experienced guide and trusted companion on your journey of self-discovery with the ultimate aim of helping you reclaim authorship of your own life and enhance your capacities for joy, love, creativity, and play.
